Bitcoin RSI Alert
Bitcoin RSI Alert — get notified when BTC's RSI crosses your threshold.
Current 4h RSI: 35.59, last updated 2 hours ago.
RSI (relative strength index) is a 0–100 reading of how far and how fast Bitcoin's price has moved over recent candles. Crossly uses a 14-period RSI, the usual default, and only on candles that have already closed.
The current 4-hour reading is 35.59, which sits between 30 and 70 for Bitcoin. Readings under 30 are often called oversold (price has been falling faster than it has been rising). Readings over 70 are often called overbought. Anything between is a middle range. Those labels are descriptions, not instructions to buy or sell.
An alert beats refreshing the chart. You pick the threshold once — for example, RSI under 30 or over 70 — and Crossly watches the interval you choose. When BTC's RSI crosses it, you get a Telegram message. The free plan includes that, so you do not need a paid charting subscription just to hear about the cross. Email delivery is on paid plans.
FAQ
- What's a good RSI to buy Bitcoin at?
- There isn't a single good RSI. Traders often treat 30 and below as stretched to the downside and 70 and above as stretched to the upside, then set their own threshold. A Bitcoin RSI Alert tells you when Bitcoin's RSI crosses the level you picked. It does not tell you to buy or sell.
- How often does Crossly check Bitcoin's RSI?
- Crossly checks RSI when a candle closes on the interval you choose: 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, or 1 day. This page shows the 4-hour Bitcoin RSI, refreshed after each 4-hour candle closes. It does not tick every second.
- What does the Bitcoin RSI on this page measure?
- It is the 14-period RSI of BTC priced in USDT, calculated from the last closed 4-hour candle. 0 means recent candles were almost all down, 100 means they were almost all up, and 50 is balanced. The figure at the top is that reading.
- Is a Bitcoin RSI alert free?
- Yes. The free plan includes RSI alerts on 4-hour candles, delivered by Telegram, with a monthly notification cap. You create the alert in the dashboard after you sign in. Email delivery is on paid plans.
